
Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs
The Men's Club here at Ohavay Zion Synagogue, in affiliation with the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs, is committed to supporting all synagogue functions with particular focus on Holiday & Social Event planning, structure and participation. They also place a lot of emphasis on building & ground maintenance/physical plant.

Women's League of Conservative Judaism
The OZS Sisterhood in affiliation with the Women's League for Conservative Judasim, functions as a support group to all synagogue activities with special emphasis on Religious School/Education Functions and Holiday Celebrations, including every Shabbat. United Synagogue Youth & Young Judaea
Two active youth groups function to give pre-teens and teens opportunity to interact with other Jewish youth in Lexington and throughout the region. Middle-school (6th - 8th grade) and high-school (9th - 12th grade) groups are affiliated with United Synagogue Youth and Young Judaea.
The interdisciplinary minor in Judaic Studies at the University of Kentucky provides students with the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture, language, literature, religion, history, and philosophy of the Jewish people from antiquity to the present.
Jewish Student Organization/Hillel Foundation
JSO/Hillel serves as the representative of Jewish students and the local Jewish community on the UK campus. It is their goal to provide students an avenue to social, educational, spiritual, and affiliational aspects of Judaism. They aim to reach out to undergraduate, graduate and professional students on the UK campus as well as those at all of the other institutions of higher education in the Central Kentucky area. The organization is flexible, dynamic and student-centered.
The Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass
The mission of the Federation is to promote and foster unity and cohesion in the Jewish community of Central Kentucky; to improve the quality of Jewish life in the community by developing and maintaining recreational, social, cultural, community service and leisure activities; and to provide financial assistance and moral support to the State of Israel, Jewish people in all countries and selected charities.
